How Do You Measure Online Success?
Chicago, IL (Gawkwire.com) What's the most valuable way to measure whether your web site is paying sufficient dividends on your campaign investments? Richard Zwicky, president and founder of Enquisite, Inc., a provider of search marketing automation and monetization solutions, is among the thought leaders offering his take on this critical question at Search Engine Strategies Chicago, December 8-12, 2008.
"Measuring Success in a 2.0 World," a session in which Zwicky will serve as a panelist, takes place on Monday, December 8 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM. The panel will examine both traditional and more cutting-edge approaches to measuring success.
"Even with the current downturn in the economy, you continue to see the shift to online media spend. Cyber Monday is a good example. That term didn't even exist several years ago," says Zwicky. "At SES, we'll examine how to measure the success of your online campaigns, and what statistics make the most sense to measure in a 2.0 world."
Search analytics is an important part of measuring success, says Zwicky, since it enables analysis at the front end of the sales cycle, as people begin their search. "At Enquisite, we help marketers make better choices at the beginning of their campaigns, so they can bring the most qualified traffic through to the end of the sales cycle."
Tactics for Success
On Wednesday, December 10th, Zwicky will also moderate the "Tactical Success Measurement" workshop from 4 to 5:15 PM. This session will give the audience practical tips on how to measure the individual tactical events in a campaign, and how to use those measurements to further success. "It's a good companion session to our measuring success discussion on Monday. This will take the subject to a tactical level, and give agencies and in-house marketers actionable ideas they can put to use immediately," says Zwicky.
Auditing Tips
Zwicky is also a key speaker at the session "Search Marketers on Auditing" to be held Thursday, December 11 from 10:15 to 11:15 AM. The session will explore issues and tactics related to auditing concerns. Also on Thursday, Zwicky will moderate the panel on "Black Hat, White Hat & the Best Kept Secrets to Search" from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The session will be a frank discussion on approaches to search ranking and will also offer SEO and marketing tips from industry leaders.
