McAfee, Inc. Appoints Masanori Osuga as President of McAfee Japan
SANTA CLARA, CA (Gawkwire.com) McAfee, Inc. (NYSE:MFE) today announced the appointment of Masanori Osuga as president of Japan, reporting to Michael DeCesare, executive vice president of sales operations. Takahiro Kato has assumed the role of Chairman of McAfee Japan.
Osuga begins as “incoming president” immediately, and will assume the role of president on June 1st. He will be responsible for sales across both McAfee’s consumer and enterprise segments and will be located in McAfee’s Tokyo, Japan office.
“This appointment completes an extensive search for a new president for McAfee Japan,” said DeCesare. “We thank Kato-san for his more than 10 years of leadership and commitment, and look forward to his continued support as he moves into the planned role of Chairman on June 1st.”

Osuga joins McAfee from Juniper Networks, Inc., where he held the position of country manager and vice president of Japan. In this position, Osuga was responsible for the company’s service provider business across Japan. This also includes successfully merging companies such as Netscreen Networks, Redline, Peribit and Acorn. Prior to Juniper Networks, Osuga was country manager of Japan at Unisphere Networks, which was acquired by Juniper Networks in 2002. Osuga also held positions at AT&T Japan and NEC System Integration and Construction Ltd., with roles in contract management and sales.

Osuga holds a Law degree from Hosei University in Tokyo, Japan.
