(Gawkwire.com) Peak 10 Inc., a managed services company with world-class data centers, announced today it has been named a Stevie Award finalist in the Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year category. Additionally, two members of its customer service team were named finalists in the individual categories of Customer Service Manager of the Year and Customer Service Leader of the Year.
 
The awards are presented by the Stevie® Awards, which organizes several of the world’s leading business awards shows including the prestigious American Business Awards. Nicknamed the Steviesfor the Greek word “crowned,” winners will be announced during a gala banquet on Monday, Feb. 22 at the Eden Roc Renaissance Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. Nominated customer service and sales executives from the U.S.A. and several other countries are expected to attend.  
 
“Being named a finalist in the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service is an important achievement,” said Michael Gallagher, the president of the Stevie Awards. “It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of international recognition. More than 500 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted in this year’s competition. Of the various award categories for customer service professionals, Peak 10 was selected for three. Peak 10’s senior vice president of service delivery, Dan Wixon, is a finalist in the Customer Service Leader of the Year category. Jeffrey Brooks, senior manager for Peak 10 Support, is a finalist in the Customer Service Manager of the Year category and lastly, Peak 10’s Support team is named a finalist in the Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year category.

Members of the Awards’ Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors will select Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists during final judging, to take place Jan. 25 through Feb. 3, 2010.   Finalists were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging.
