Planet Technologies Appoints John Brown as Director

Planet Technologies, a global IT consulting and services company, has appointed John Brown as Director of EMEA business.

Brown, formerly Planet’s Senior Manager of EMEA, and his team will lead all Microsoft solution and service opportunities for Planet Technologies within the EMEA sector.  Planet, already a world-wide leading systems integrator for Service Providers, expects to increase value to its existing clients and increase its customer base to additional enterprise markets in this region.

To lead Planet’s expansion into additional enterprise markets, Brown has hired Rick Flood as Sales Director. Flood comes to Planet from from a significant history of successful sales management, formerly with larger ERP solutions but latterly within the hosting market. Brown and Flood, who both reside in Europe, will allow the company to improve existing customer communication and project delivery, and increase its market share in the geography.
