Search Marketing Standard Acquired by iNET Interactive

West Chester, OH, and Brooklyn, NY (Gawkwire.com) iNET Interactive today announced that it has acquired Search Marketing Standard, the largest and fastest growing print publication serving the Search Marketing industry, and its associated web properties, SearchMarketingStandard.com, PayPerClickUniverse.com and SEMCompare.com.

Launched in early 2006, with the goal to provide readers with practical, relevant and easy-to-understand Internet Marketing information, Search Marketing Standard magazine has grown from a newcomer in the field to an authoritative resource used by over 50,000 search engine advertisers and Internet marketers. Search Marketing Standard's websites incorporate user-contributed ratings, reviews, and discussion along with professionally-produced, instructional content focused on helping businesses succeed within the rapidly growing field of search and Internet Marketing.

The addition of Search Marketing Standard is a natural extension for iNET Interactive, further strengthening its position as the leading media company serving Internet professionals and technology enthusiasts. The iNET Interactive portfolio also includes Web Hosting Talk, the largest online community serving the web hosting and hosted services industry, and Hot Scripts, the largest directory of scripts for the web development community.

"We are very excited to be able to add Search Marketing Standard to iNET Interactive's portfolio of media brands," stated Troy Augustine, iNET's President and CEO. "Search Marketing Standard is a strong brand, and it is a perfect complement to our strengths in the web development and web hosting areas."

Search Marketing Standard was founded by Boris Mordkovich and Eugene Mordkovich and headed by the Editor-in-Chief, Andrey Milyan. Boris will remain engaged with Search Marketing Standard as an advisor while Andrey Milyan will remain editor-in-chief joined with other Search Marketing Standard veterans to continue their sales and editorial roles.

"Troy and his team fully embrace the commitment our team has given to our loyal readers and advertisers in producing a high-quality publication and online media properties." Boris Mordkovich stated. "We have complete confidence that iNET Interactive will continue to grow and develop Search Marketing Standard with the same energy and dedication that we poured into it."
