(www.gawkwire.com) – Today, the API Strategy & Practice Conference announced the first keynote speakers for its upcoming Austin event: Neha Sampat, CEO of built.io, and enterprise thought leader Dion Hinchcliffe; along with early public sponsors of the event including 3scale, Walgreens, Klout, SmartBear, Akana, Cloud Elements and AnyPresence.
The 2015 API Strategy and Practice Conference, being held November 18-20, 2015 at the Sheraton Hotel at the Capitol in Austin, is dedicated to bringing together leading speakers and practitioners in the API Industry. This sixth edition of the event will continue the conversation with talks, workshops and discussions on current challenges and opportunities in the API space.
Seventy other speakers covering diverse topics from API security, design and business models, to operations and marketing will join Sampat and Hinchcliffe. The Call for Papers closes at midnight Wednesday, September 9th, 2015. The complete program will be announced in late September.
“We’re excited to already have big names in the API space signing up to share their latest work and thinking with our audience,” says Program Chair, Mark Boyd. “Neha will share her perspective on the intersection of web, mobile and the Internet of Things, where her company, backend-as-a-service provider built.io, is helping businesses of all sizes to create a new generation of real-time, contextual products and services. And Dion will share some of his latest research on the rise of the citizen developer and the new approach API providers are taking to put data and functionality into the hands of end users who are not traditionally part of the developer community.”
API Strategy & Practice is a not-for-profit event co-organized by 3scale and API Evangelist and is dedicated to sharing, informing and learning about the rapidly growing API industry and marketplace.
