Additionally, Barracuda will have a presence in Ixia’s booth 1445, where Barracuda VP Virtualization Platforms John Peterson will present “Virtualizing Network Assets at Scale” during Ixia’s theater presentations on Monday, August 26, at 12:00 p.m. and Tuesday, August 27, at 3:00 p.m. Virtualizing server applications has become a common practice with IT organizations around the world; however, virtualizing firewalls, routers and other networking applications has yet to become mainstream. One of the primary reasons for this is because of the performance degradation seen while running latency and throughput sensitive applications within a hypervisor. Attendees are invited to stop by the Ixia booth to learn how Barracuda, with the help of Ixia, has helped solve these challenges by leveraging I/O virtualization with its Network Virtualization Platform.
