Parallels Summit kicked off today in beautiful Miami, Florida at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Resort with an opening session presented by Parallels President and co-founder Jack Zubarev. The session titled “Clouds, with 100% Chance of Profit” opened by talking a little about the company and its relationship with the cloud market.

(Gawkwire.com) Parallels Summit kicked off today in beautiful Miami, Florida at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Resort with an opening session presented by Parallels President and co-founder Jack Zubarev. The session titled  “Clouds, with 100% Chance of Profit” opened by talking a little about the company and its relationship with the cloud market.

Zubarev went on to talk about how rapidly the cloud services market is growing and where it will be in the next few years. Parallels predicts that the current $9 billion industry will more than double by the year 2013.

The presentation went on to talk about how cloud service offerings can help small hosting providers solve three major problem factors: customer acquisition, retention, and cost pressure. Next her went on to talk about the direction that Parallels is going in the cloud services market and how service providers can profit from it.

The presentation also introduced Parallels Small Business Panel after talking about how the Software as a Service is expected to grow 26 percent.

Finally, the session ended with the discussion of what Parallels can do beyond just being a software provider. Parallels' PartnerNet provides a range of partner marketing opportunity, support request submissions, and allows users to submit feedback and feature request.

After the session, the exhibition hall opened for visitors and the day ended with a poolside welcome recption.
