In-house Search Marketing Conference Launches at SMX Advanced

San Francisco, CA and Redding, CT (Gawkwire.com) SEOinhouse.com and Search Marketing Expo organizer Third Door Media announced In-house SEM Exchange, the first search engine marketing conference dedicated to In-house SEOs. The In-house SEM Exchange has been created in response to the sharp increase of companies launching internal search engine marketing departments and will happen on June 4th, 2009 following Search Marketing Expo - SMX Advanced in Seattle, Washington, June 2-3.

The In-house SEM Exchange offers in-house search engine marketers the chance to learn from one another, get solutions that work, and receive candid feedback on what doesn't. More importantly, attendees will build relationships with SEOs who want to share their experiences.

The In-house SEM Exchange is an event created by in-house SEOs for in-house SEOs, at the request of in-house SEOs. Three leading search engine marketers who contributed insights into the perfect in-house search marketing event have this to say about this unique conference:

"In-house SEOs will benefit from the safe haven of this event so that we can share openly, get input from people who have been through their challenges and get several solutions from a room full of people who understand the unique challenges of in-house SEO."
- Duane Forrester, Senior Program Manager, SEO - Microsoft/MSN

"The needs of search marketers doing SEO in-house are broader than the topics covered at most conferences. It's not just about basic tactics: you also have to deal with organizational, political and process-related challenges. Insights into how to get past these hurdles often come from peers at other companies who either are or have been going through similar challenges. Having a day that is dedicated to enabling these conversations is priceless."
- Olivier Lemaignen, Group Manager, Global Search Marketing - Intuit

"What's particularly great about this add-on day to SMX Advanced is that we get the benefits of a search marketing conference combined with the opportunity to interact with in-house SEOs in a way that facilitates knowledge transfer, relationship building and ways to overcome obstacles specific to in-house SEOs."
- Brent D. Payne, Director of Search Engine Optimization, Tribune Company

The In-house SEM Exchange, sponsored by Microsoft Live Search, features the In-house SEO Vault, an intense, serious and productive SEO exchange on the most pressing issues faced by attendees who will actually define the topics discussed through a pre-event survey. The In-house SEO Vault has a "what is said here, stays here" mentality and is intended to bring down the walls, lay everything on the table and get real solutions that are actually being implemented successfully by companies doing SEO in-house, right now.

The In-house SEM Exchange will run in conjunction with the following Search Marketing Expo events in 2009 and 2010:

- Search Marketing Expo - SMX Advanced, Seattle Washington (2009 and 2010)
- Search Marketing Expo - SMX East, New York, New York (2009 and 2010)
- Search Marketing Expo - SMX West, Santa Clara, CA (2010)

The In-house SEM Exchange will be open only to those who want to share as much as they receive, and only to search marketers who are employed by a company that does not sell search engine marketing services.

The inaugural In-house SEM Exchange will take place alongside SMX Advanced, the search marketing conference created for experienced search marketers. SMX Advanced sessions cover today's hot button search engine marketing issues, with tracks focused on paid search advertising (PPC), search engine optimization, social media marketing and search marketing company business issues.
