Interxion Announces Gold Sponsorship of Hosting Transformation Summit

LONDON, UK (Gawkwire.com) Interxion, a leading European operator of carrier-neutral data centres, today announced its Gold Sponsorship of the Hosting Transformation Summit Europe (www.hsvsummit.com) presented by Tier1 Research and The 451 Group. The event will take place at the Hilton Tower Bridge in the City of London on 2nd June 2009.

The Hosting Transformation Summit Europe is the premier forum for the hosting, data centre and Internet infrastructure sectors. The Summit provides a complete overview of the opportunities and challenges facing the hosting industry — ranging from power, cooling and partnering to M&A strategies and meeting the ever-increasing expectations of the customer.

As part of the company’s support for the event, Interxion Group MD Anthony Foy will join a panel of industry analysts and experts to discuss “Disruptive Data Centre Operator Services: A Practical Necessity, Or Unrealistic Pipe Dream.”  The panel will be outlining the ‘build versus buy’ debate, within the context of the credit crunch, and discussing whether the separation and specialisation of data centre services is a better way to succeed in the current commercial environment.

“The Hosting Transformation Summit Europe brings together analysts and industry players, providing an excellent forum for discussion of trends seen in the market,” said Anthony Foy, Group Managing Director Interxion. “We look forward to sharing our expertise in data centre design, management and service provision to contribute to the debate.”
