WHAT: 
             PC.com is an online destination to explore, learn and ask questions about PC technology and purchasing options – geared to the consumer who may find the world of personal computers a bit confusing.
 
             TV personality and model Brooke Burke will host the red carpet at Intel’s CES party, an invitation-only event from 7:30-11 p.m. Jan. 9 at LAX Nightclub at Luxor and headlined by rock group Counting Crows.

            Burke last month won Season 7 of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Outside of her busy modeling career, she gained fame as host of E! Entertainment Television’s popular travel series “Wild On!” from 1992-2002.

            PC.com will be demoed at the Intel Media Center (Intel booth 2nd floor) Spokespeople will be on hand for media interviews.
 
    
WHAT ELSE: 

            PC.com, which went live in July after a 4-month beta test, is on target to reach 1.4 million hits during CES.

            Mario Lopez is next up for the “Celebrity Techovers” series on PC.com; Part 1 with Lopez is scheduled to go live on Dec. 29 with Part 2 (“the reveal” of his Burbank home – and the TV personality himself – getting teched up) slated for post-CES.
