The OW2 Open Source Middleware Consortium First Annual Conference
Paris, France (Gawkwire.com) OW2 Consortium, the open source middleware community, is organizing its first Annual Conference on April 1-2 in Paris. With "Open Source for the Computing Infrastructure" as its central theme, the conference will present some of the latest developments in enterprise computing and will demonstrate the maturity of open source for the enterprise information system infrastructure.
Keynotes speakers Yukihiro Matsumoto, Chief Designer of the Ruby Programming Language and Roberto Chinnici, Specification Lead for Java EE 6 at Sun Microsystems are a true testimonial to the openness of the OW2 community. This year's program features over 30 presentations, speakers from Europe, Asia and the Americas, seven thematic sessions, two poster sessions and of course the "Best Use-Case Award".
"In times of crisis, solutions which optimize investments must be sought and open source solutions from the OW2 code base perfectly meet this requirement because they are free, reliable and standard." says OW2 CEO Cédric Thomas
During the conference, on the Solution Linux exhibition floor, live demonstrations of free solutions from the OW2 code base will be showcased by Consortium Members such as Bull, EBMWebsourcing, Engineering, eXo Platform, Ingres, INRIA, and XWiki.
The OW2 Annual Conference will be held in the framework of the Solution Linux event at the Paris Expo, Portes de Versailles, exhibition center. The conference is free of charge and open to all.
