Tier1 Research Announces Fifth Annual Hosting Transformation Summit

NEW YORK, NY (Gawkwire.com) Tier1 Research (T1R), the independent IT analyst firm that is the preeminent source for analysis on the hosting and colocation sectors, is thrilled to announce the return of its Hosting Transformation Summit – North America (HTS NA) event. Back for the fifth consecutive year, the Summit will be held September 14-16 at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

For four years, Tier1 Research analysts have consistently delivered an exceptional conference program providing in-depth analysis on the hosting and Internet infrastructure sectors. The same level of excellence will be maintained this year, as the event agenda is set to include a deep dive into topics including how hosting and colocation providers can actually take advantage of the current economic climate, the impact of 'the cloud' on hosting providers, the new wave of disaster recovery and much more. Because Las Vegas is the backdrop for the event, day one of HTS NA will conclude with Tier1's wildly popular annual Hosting Poker Tournament, which will place attendees at the table across from their biggest competitor – or their next partner.

Current sponsors for the event are set to consist of some industry heavy hitters, including but not limited to: Microsoft, DH Capital, Digital Realty Trust, Signal Hill, Parallels, Carpathia Hosting, DuPont Fabros Technology, Fortrust, Interxion, Quality Technology Services, Schneider Electric, Turbine Air Systems (TAS), SunGard Availability Services, TelecityGroup and Verizon Business. Registration for HTS NA is now open, and additional information can be obtained at the following website: www.hsvsummit.com/na/2009/index.php.

"Our fifth annual Hosting Transformation Summit presents attendees with a unique venue where they can not only speak candidly with their peers about the future of the industry, but also take the opportunity to consult directly with Tier1 analysts," said Daniel Golding, Vice President and Research Director of Tier1 Research and Conference Chair. "In addition to an outstanding conference program, our exceptional networking receptions with a senior-level executive audience provide an environment where deals are cut and careers are made."
