Aptinet Rolls out New Interface
Aptinet is rolling out a new interface for its ground-breaking web content management system Waves2 offering greater usability and a tablet-friendly interface.
(Gawkwire) - Companies seeking a Web Content Management System (WCMS) are continually presented with a wide range of choices. Among the basic considerations that fuel both the search for a WCMS and the selection of a particular system are notions of “usability” – how effectively the user, whether a novice or pro, interacts with the software.
To that end, Aptinet is “making waves again” as it rolls out a new interface for its already ground-breaking content management system, Waves2. “Client feedback was overwhelmingly positive with requests for unique interface adjustments,” said John Clyde, Executive Director of Aptinet. “At Aptinet we love a challenge, so we searched for the best solutions to our clients’ requests and a developed a new interface. The added benefit was the ability for us to make the interface tablet-friendly as well.”
Instead of just developing answers internally, organizing focus groups and obtaining client feedback was a key component to the success of the new interface. Aptinet pulled together clients and staff engineers to identify issues and develop solutions for taking Waves2 to another level. One of the topics was how to more clearly see, and be able to take advantage of, the plethora of useful features available in Waves2.
After a number of months in development, the updated interface of Aptinet’s easy-to-use content management system (CMS) Waves2 is functional and available. “Perhaps the biggest advantage this CMS affords is its depth of functionality, now with much easier access. Waves2 contains a full library of widgets, coupled with a wealth of site and system management features,” stated Clyde. And while many CMS systems offer a selection of features, few take advantage of the incredible flexibility and simplicity of access via tablet. Waves2 changes that with simple navigational menus and icons.
Aptinet Inc. offers both in-person and online demonstrations of the WAVES2 WCMS for both in-house staff and CMS consultants. For more information call 917-408-6381 or 212-725-7255, send an email to info (at) waves2.com, or visit http://www.waves2.com/demo-DemoRequest.
