Nyon, Switzerland (Gawkwire.com) With 2008 fast drawing to a close destination for consumer electronics enthusiasts in the know, Biz-News.com, is gathering entries for the titles of Man/Woman of the Year and Product/Service of the Year.
Nominations are now being accepted for the annual consumer electronics excellence awards in the Smartphone, HDTV, VoIP and Storage industries.
As an open process, professionals and technology enthusiasts in the consumer electronics industry are invited to nominate influential individuals and/or products/services they believe have had a major impact on the consumer electronics in one of four sectors -- Smartphone, HDTV, VoIP and Storage -- over the past 12 months.
The winners will be selected from the submissions received in each of the four categories: Smartphone, HDTV, VoIP and Storage.
Participants are being asked to submit their nomination(s) for any of the consumer electronics categories through forms on the biz-news website (www.biz-news.com/en/surveys/index.html).
Along with the name of the person or consumer electronics product, people are invited to give a short description about why they think their candidate deserves the accolade.
It is possible to make multiple submissions - but individuals can only vote once for any person or product in each of the four categories -- Smartphone, HDTV, VoIP and Storage.
Nominations must be received by 31 January and the full results will be announced shortly afterwards (Personal information about contributors will not be disclosed).
