Network Solutions Ranks Among 16 Popular Web Site Redesigns for 2009

(Gawkwire.com) SmashingApps, a web site for web developers and designers, announced a list of 16 popular web site redesigns of 2009, chosen for their simple, sleek look, as well as the use of color and fonts, which contribute to the overall presentation. The list included Network Solutions® web site among other well known brands.

"We're honored to be recognized by Smashingapps along with the other great companies on the list," said Pragnesh Shah, vice president of Web Storefront & Online Sales at Network Solutions. "Our redesigned site was a large effort and has been well received by the small business and web professional customers we cater to, and our team continues to improve it every day."

Network Solutions worked closely with Pappas Group, a leading brand consultancy and design group based in Virginia, to align the company's brand strategy and web site more closely with its goal of providing businesses everything needed to succeed online. The web design team focused on simplifying the layout of products and services as well as streamlining the site navigation so customers could find the information they need quickly. In addition, the team worked to eliminate technical jargon used to describe services in order to make the site more appealing to small business owners.
