R1Soft Acquired by BBS Technologies

Developer of near-continuous data protection products for Linux and Windows, R1Soft, has been acquired by BBS Technologies, Inc., to strengthen its position in the Windows systems management market and give access to R1Soft, of BBS' distribution channel, support capabilities, and engineering resources.

Effective immediately, R1Soft will be integrated as a division of BBS Technologies headed up by David Wartell, founder and CEO of R1Soft. R1Soft will continue to pursue its existing product development goals, and existing employees will continue to work under the new division.
