(Gawkwire) – Content Management AG (CM-AG), a leading provider of web-based applications and value-added services, is proud to announce that Alfahosting GmbH has successfully launched a German-language version of CM4all Sites. The application was specifically customized by Alfahosting’s product management team and is marketed to SMBs and residential customers under the "Homepage Business" and "Homepage Privat" product names. Depending on the desired range of functions, end customers can choose between a "Start" and "Pro" version, which are currently available at introductory prices between €1.99 and €18.99.
"Thanks to the comprehensive customization options of CM4all Sites, we were able to tailor the product precisely to our target segments. Now our customers can choose from over 150 website categories. Each category features a complete website preconfigured according to the respective topic and includes suitable copy, images, and widgets. This enables our customers to adapt the website quickly and easily to their individual requirements and go live in next to no time," explains Moritz Bartsch, Managing Director of Alfahosting GmbH.
CM4all Sites delivers numerous innovations, including an instant setup page, an enhanced WYSIWYG editor, and a comprehensive file browser with an interactive drop zone. Thanks to CM4all’s new widget technology, users at all levels can integrate sophisticated features into their websites ranging from contact forms through photo galleries to social media connectivity with Facebook® and Google+™. Additionally, CM4all Sites is designed with an open widget API. Combined with the new Widget Developer Network, this enables the integration of third-party services and allows for continuous development of widgets by CM-AG, OEM partners, and external software engineers. As of the latest release, mobile websites can now be created for iOS and Android smart phones directly within CM4all Sites. A well-structured menu allows users to accurately define which parts of the existing content they want to adopt and whether they want to add a mobile start page. When activated, CM4all Sites automatically publishes the mobile website and the desktop version simultaneously.
"We are excited that our long-standing OEM partner Alfahosting has successfully launched CM4all Sites. Thoroughly leveraging our new OEM customization options enabled Alfahosting to offer a highly individualized homepage product only two months after we signed our contract, while at the same time integrating it seamlessly into the processes and systems in Alfahosting’s own data center. The newly created personal and business website options provide a solid foundation for further product differentiation and strengthen Alfahosting’s position in the German hosting market," says Robert Schovenberg, CEO of Content Management AG.
As is standard with all CM4all products, the user interface of CM4all Sites was adapted to Alfahosting’s corporate design. CM-AG safeguards the software’s availability with 24/7 support and continuously updates both the operating system and the software application.
