(Gawkwire) – ColoGuard’s marketing executives and sales team gathered at the event on May 14-16 in Chicago and met an estimated 90% of the show’s attendees. Everyone received a greeting-card-style flier with details about ColoGuard’s and GalaxyVisions’ world-class data center. Those interested in learning more were greeted by the company’s president and vice president, who also attended the show. One lucky visitor to ColoGuard’s booth won a 40-inch LED TV.

"We are extremely pleased with this year’s ITW. Chicago was a beautiful city, and the conference was extremely well organized for the large number of participants. We estimate that we introduced ourselves to about 90% of attendees," said Raymond Sidler, CEO of ColoGuard and GalaxyVisions. "We were able to meet many potential and existing customers."

To mark ITW, GalaxyVisions announced last month a special dedicated server plan designed for Internet telephony providers – an offer that has been extended through June. The company also is waiving setup fees for another month. VoIP providers can call 1.866-GVHOST1 (484-6781) or email sales@galaxyvisions.com to learn more about the deal.

Sidler reported that ColoGuard and GalaxyVisions received more than 20 leads from the event, ranging from colocating 1U servers to full cabinets. Several clients were signed up on the spot while others agreed to visit ColoGuard/GalaxyVisions data center in the New York City borough of Brooklyn for a tour of the state-of-the-art facility. The teams also met with several current customers, who gave positive feedback to the ColoGuard/GalaxyVisions team at the show.

"We couldn’t be happier with our experience at ITW. The show could not have been better organized, and attendance was extremely strong. It made for an excellent networking and business-building opportunity," said Magurdumov, who is also Vice President of ColoGuard and GalaxyVisions.

Attendees were particularly interested to hear about GalaxyVisions’ and ColoGuard’s specialization in solutions for Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service providers. For clear Internet phone calls, they need fast, reliable and direct connections – exactly what is provided by the data center shared by GalaxyVisions and ColoGuard. In fact, network traffic from the facility can reach most foreign countries in under 10 hops. That’s well below the 300ms latency threshold for crystal-clear VoIP conversations. ColoGuard also offers separate network segments provisioned specifically for VoIP clients.
