DiscountASP.NET Updates Free ASP.NET 4.0 Hosting Sandbox

(Gawkwire.com) DiscountASP.NET has updated their free ASP.NET 4 hosting sandbox with the recently released .NET RIA Services RC. The free hosting sandbox program is extended until April 2010 to allow Visual Studio 2010 RC users to experience 1-Click publishing now using .NET RIA services.

Windows Communication Foundation RIA Services brings together ASP.NET and Microsoft Silverlight platforms using Windows Communication Foundation. The RIA Services provides support for tasks such as data validation, authentication and roles by integrating with Silverlight on the client and ASP.NET on the mid-tier. In addition, it includes rich tooling for integrating client and mid-tier projects and helps in developing rich UI with drag-drop simplicity.

The free sandbox hosting program is a limited program offered as an open beta for developers on a first come first serve basis. The.NET Framework 4 beta hosting account comes with 50 MB of disk space and 50 MB of SQL Server 2008 database space. The program ends April 16, 2010.

Interested developers are welcome to sign up at http://labs.discountasp.net while space is available.
