On January 12, 2010, earthquakes and the resulting aftershocks have devestated Haiti. A recent joint effort by hosting providers has created the online project Hosting for Haiti.

(Gawkwire.com) On January 12, 2010, earthquakes and the resulting aftershocks have devestated Haiti. A recent joint effort by hosting providers has created the online project Hosting for Haiti in an effort to raise awareness and funding for the American Red Cross.

he American Red Cross is dedicated to providing emergency relief and recovery to help those affected by the disaster.

The effort to provide this relief has come from  hosting providers such as SoftLayer, Peer1 Hosting, GoGrid, The Planet, SerInt, and Rackspace. All of these companies have been involved in raising awareness and helping in donations.
