HostV Adds Full Data Backup for Virtual Private Servers

NEW YORK, NY (Gawkwire.com) HostV (http://www.hostv.com), a leader in Virtual Private Servers and Dedicated servers, announced today it has added an additional layer of data backup for its Virtual Private Servers at no additional charge. All clients will automatically receive the new functionality.

In addition to RAID-10 data protection, clients can now take advantage of complete data backups that do not count against their disk space allotment. The full backup option allows clients to periodically generate full backups of all data hosted on their Virtual Private Server. The data is compressed and encrypted, and stored on a separate drive.

Clients can easily restore their data from a previous restore point through an online interface in their Parallels Virtuozzo control panel. Each restore point can also be downloaded as a ZIP file and stored by the client.

“We are effectively doubling the disk space allotment for our clients by introducing complete backups. Although we already provide a variety of other data protection options, including RAID-10 drive configurations, the addition of full account backups helps add peace of mind for our clients, who utilize our services to fulfill their mission-critical requirements,” said John Xie, John Xie, President of Cirtex Corp., HostV parent company.

Virtual Private Servers from HostV start at $39.99/monthly for 25GB of disk space and 500GB of top-tier data transfer. All accounts include the Parallels Virtuozzo Power Panel, cPanel Control Panel, support for video hosting, the Fantastico auto-installer suite, and 24/7/365 world class customer and technical support.
