(Gawkwire) – National data center and colocation provider InfoRelay Online Systems, Inc. announced the expansion of its LAX3 data center in downtown Los Angeles, California this past Friday. The Los Angeles data center expansion comes about a week after its expansion in downtown New York City. According to InfoRelay, the expansion includes more Los Angeles-based staff, office space, and colocation availability to customers.
The Northern Virginia-based IT company currently has data centers in 15 locations across the Unites States and serves a variety of sectors including small, medium and enterprise business, healthcare, government entities, and more. Clients of InfoRelay’s recently expanded Los Angeles LAX3 data center have access to services such as secure server colocation, SnapScale enterprise cloud hosting, server and desktop backup, high-capacity Internet connectivity and direct network peering with multiple US and Asia-based networks. The LAX3 data center facility provides connectivity to over 300 networks and ISPs, and has a network uptime guarantee of 99.999% (five nines). LAX3 is also connected to InfoRelay’s two other Los Angeles data centers, LAX1 and LAX2 via a dark fiber ring, which allows clients to connect to networks and carriers in its other regional data centers such as One Wilshire in Los Angeles, CA.
InfoRelay will be expanding a number of offerings at LAX3, including new partial cabinet colocation, offered in quarter, third and half rack deployments, as well as full cabinet and cage deployments. InfoRelay Director of Marketing William Lombardo explains, “We are proud to expand our offerings in the Los Angeles region through the growth of LAX3. Customers will see various changes that improve customer experience and service availability. Customers can now turn up partial cabinets, full cabinets and cage deployments, all with faster turn-up times and reduced monthly fees. All of the mentioned services are complemented by our multi-homed, highly redundant bandwidth network, which has a 99.999% uptime guarantee, and our newly hired Los Angeles sales technicians who can connect directly with clients in that region.”
The expanded data center services are available at InfoRelay LAX3 as of October 1, 2013. For more on this story, please contact the InfoRelay Communications Department at 703 485 4600.
