IT Hosting Leader Carat Networks Launches High Performance VPS

MARKHAM, Ontario (Gawkwire.com) Carat Networks, a leading global IT hosting service provider, today launched its first line of high performance Virtual Private Servers (VPS), starting at just $29 per month and offering access to an enterprise-grade, fully redundant hosting network. The company already provides an extensive array of shared hosting, colocation solutions and dedicated servers.

Virtual Private Servers from Carat Networks are available in four configurations, ranging from $29 per month to $69 per month. Each configuration is based on the OpenVZ virtualization platform and offers full root access, powerful hardware (Intel® Dual Quad Core-based servers), redundant power supplies, and RAID protected storage space. Customers can optionally utilize cPanel/WHM or DirectAdmin for a control panel and select from CentOS, Fedora Core, Debian, or Ubuntu for the operating system.

“Our Virtual Private Servers leverage multi-million dollar network infrastructure to provide clients with access to enterprise-level hosting technology at a price small to medium sized businesses can afford. We built this new line of services to provide a robust solution that lies in the vital space between virtual hosting and dedicated servers,” said Chris Niedojadlo, CEO of Carat Networks.

Carat Networks’ Virtual Private Servers offer exceptional short-term and long-term scalability, with four-times-RAM burst capabilities included as standard on all configurations and up to 1250 GB of data transfer per month available within the service line. Clients also benefit from equally shared CPU processing, which provides an equitable distribution of system resources to each user on the system.
