NaviSite Joins SIIA to Advance Managed Cloud Services

(Gawkwire.com) - NaviSite, Inc., today announced it has joined the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA)  to help foster the continued growth of software-as-a-service (SaaS) and to advance successful software transition from on-premise to  cloud deployments. SIIA is the recognized software industry authority and is known for offering members an opportunity to collaborate and partner with leading technology partners to help ISVs develop a growing and prosperous business.  NaviSite’s active membership in this organization will help educate ISVs on SaaS and emerging cloud deployment models.

“ISVs face many challenges in their transition to going-to-market with software as a service.  NaviSite has dozens of customers who have worked with us to optimize their software architecture, code base, security models, billing and metering methods and more.  NaviSite’s team is focused on ensuring our customer’s success;  alongside the technical SaaS enablement services we provide assistance with go-to-market strategies, SLA and software license modifications and other business related challenges that many new SaaS providers face.” said Sumeet Sabharwal, SVP Strategic Alliances and SaaS Channel,  NaviSite. “Our recent public launch of our application-focused enterprise class Managed Cloud Services offerings are exactly what SaaS providers need that sell their solutions to enterprises. We are confident that that our infrastructure and data center will pass and exceed any type of due-diligence or audits.”

“SIIA and our Software Division are incredibly valuable resources because our members are active. Our success in helping our members make the transition to SaaS and the cloud is most apparent in the breadth of companies that step up to lead the way,” noted Ken Wasch, SIIA President. “Having NaviSite onboard is a big win for our members, especially software companies in the financial, health care, retail verticals because they require an enterprise-class, regulatory compliant suite of managed cloud services like the offerings from NaviSite."
