New Year’s Nation Hub at CoreXchange for Second Year
Dallas, Texas (Gawkwire.com) Dallas-based CoreXchange has again been selected to provide NTN-TV’s New Year's Nation with data center and network infrastructure services from CoreXchange’s Dallas Infomart data center. CoreXchange will provide bandwidth and power for New Year’s Nation, a live broadcast of a unified New Year’s party that takes place in ten cities across four time zones with an anticipated 10,000 plus guests and thousands more watching via NTN-TV online. NTN-TV reported 42,000 Internet viewers of last year’s online broadcast of the New Year’s Nation event.
“All of our production work takes place at CoreXchange, which gives us premium network performance and reliability,” said Jann Yogman, president of New Year's Nation. “What's seen simultaneously coast-to-coast by our audience of tens of thousands of Internet viewers is selected from NTN-TV’s control central, which is powered by the CoreXchange network access exchange with seamless, one-hop access to all of the major Internet backbones.”
CoreXchange provides a multi-homed mesh of BGP-routed Tier-1 backbone carriers and cross-connects to all major carriers, including increased peering and scalability via direct connection with Equinix, and with next generation switching, routing and security, customers benefit from the best possible throughput. CoreXchange’s unrivalled power redundancy includes independent TXU substation feeders with six in-building main switchgear rooms and UPS, ATS and diesel generator backup.
