Secure Managed Hosting Provider Completes Sixth Annual PCI DSS Validation

("GSI") has successfully completed its annual security assessment and has again been validated as a compliant Level 1 Service Provider under the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS). This extensive examination by a Qualified Security Assessor covered the operations and management of GSI's CompliantHost systems including its virtual infrastructure.

PCI DSS requires merchants and service providers that store, process and transmit cardholder data to adopt information security controls and processes to ensure cardholder data protection. For Level 1 Service Providers, these controls and processes must be validated annually by a Qualified Security Assessor approved by the PCI Security Standards Council. Since 2003, GSI has successfully undergone a yearly security assessment of its compliance with standards and requirements associated with the Payment Card Industry and cardholder information.
