(Gawkwire) – BaseKit, the website builder platform, announces a strategic partnership with UK2 Group, to make website creation easy and affordable for all of their customers.
BaseKit will be available to UK2 Group’s British customers immediately, and then rolled out across the Group’s European businesses.
The announcement follows an extensive search by UK2 Group for the right website builder to partner with. Andy Manning, Product and eCommerce Director at UK2 Group, commented: “BaseKit were the only team that we felt we could work with, as they shared our vision for enabling users to quickly create fantastic looking websites”.
The flexibility of BaseKit’s platform was particularly important. Andy Manning continued: “Most of our customers want a site builder with easy to use drag-and-drop functionality, that makes it easy to create and edit beautiful, functional websites. However we also wanted to offer advanced features for our more savvy users, and needed a site builder that could accommodate this. We’re happy to say BaseKit fulfilled all of our criteria and more.”
BaseKit’s technology moves website creation to the cloud, and makes it extremely easy to create dynamic websites from within the browser. As well as serving the core SME market, BaseKit also has a large following amongst web designers, who find it faster and simpler than using traditional alternatives.
Juan Lobato, BaseKit’s CEO, concluded: “We’re delighted to be partnering with UK2 Group, who’s reach enables us to take the next generation of website builder to the mass market across Europe.”
